Library discarded books were given to students to recycled into 2D and 3D art form with cutting, pasting, folding, weaving, and drawing over. Digital scanning and imaging, image transferring, gluing techniques were also introduced.

This community dinner table craft was inspired from the still life photographies of Rose Marasco who was the first photography instructor in the late 1970s at the Munson-Williams-Proctor Institute School of Art. Children made thier favorite dish out of pelts and buttons.

As a part of collaborative course Food as Art with professor Silvia Bottinelli and HNRCA at Tufts University, I designed a placemat with painted leaves of amaranth decorated with a border in the shape of the structural formula for vitamin K.  The chemistry formula intended to resemble Chinese character. Later and whole design concept came from Chinese porcelain. 

Commonly used emoji expressions were introduced to children before making sweet faces. Children combined sweets from many different cultures to make human facial expressions.
